Hello lovelies!
So today we went to the Zoo in inner London, and it was pretty big. But it was great. We meet up with some friends who had a son on Nina's age, so they ran around playing. It was crazy! And then when we went into the kangaroos (the picture) there where an Owl, on the top of the "mountain" but we just weren't sure if it was real or a statue. After looking for it for a while we guessed that it had to have been a statue, but what an odd place to put a statue of an Owl?! In Australia land?
After the Zoo, they drove me near Oxford Street, so that I could go to Nike Town to get some football shoes. It was just soo crowded, there where people everywhere! Then I got to Nike Town, and it was like 4 floors high, so it was biiiig. And I had no idea where to go. Luckily they did have a board where I could se what was on what floor. So I started at the 3th floor, the womens floor, but NO football shoes, so I asked where I could find them. "What size are you? I'm a 5? Okay then go down to the 2nd floor, they should have some there." I did what the man said and went to the 2nd floor, I stood for a long time just looking because I had NO idea of what to look for. Then I asked someone if he could help me, and then he said "If you go to the back wall we have some womens shoes" Okay then I did that, but that didn't help me at all, I still didn't get any help!!! And there where only two shoes on left... Then someone saw how confused I looked and asked if they could help, and yes but he couldn't help me because he had to go somewhere else, but I should just go to the man in the white shirt! So I asked if he could get me some shoes in size 5. No he couldn't because that's kids size, adult size start at size 6.5, so I had to go down to the 1st floor.....
Are you f*cking kidding me?!
So I went down to the 1st floor and finally this sweet guy comes to my rescue! And I try some, but they weren't quite right, so I'm going back next week or the week after that, when there aren't as many people.
Then I had to go home via the underground, and at first I was so scared. But really it wasn't that bad. But then when I came to Findley Park, and had to go on the bus, that went completely wrong, I took the wrong exit, so I didn't come out to the right busses and I was standing there like an idiot for 20 minuttes or so... But I figured it out, and I got back home.
And when I came home Nina's cousin Karin was already here, she's having her for a sleepover, so there wasn't much to do, than relax.
XOXO Monica
PS. It's my birthday tomorrow!!!
